Bobby Shisler was an all American boy. Born and raised in Deptford, New Jersey, he was a force to be reckoned with from day one. His presence left an everlasting impact on everyone who met him. A man’s man that was truly the last of a dying breed. Those who knew him will forever miss his beautiful smile and contagious laugh.
Bobby worked as a Police Officer for the Deptford Township Police Department for 4 years before his end of watch— May 7, 2023. He graduated from Deptford High School Class of 2014, where he played baseball and football. He played Division 1 baseball at Presbyterian College in South Carolina. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. Bobby had a passion for weight lifting and won his first bodybuilding competition in 2021.
For the rest of our days, we promise him there will never be a day that goes by where we don’t remind the world of his existence. A grief that never ends, is a love that never dies.

Open since 2009, Brauhaus Schmitz has revived the city’s love affair with its German heritage and reintroduced a whole generation of Philadelphians to the foods of their forefathers. This Teutonic kitchen churns out excellent Haus-Made Sausages, Savory Schnitzels, and the Best Schweinhaxe outside of Munich. To complement the much-lauded food at Brauhaus, Owner Doug Hager continues to grow its outstanding beer list. By cultivating a close relationship with brewers during his frequent visits to Germany, Brauhaus is able to present the World’s Largest German beer selection with 34 rotating draft lines, all imported from the Vaterland! In addition to the amazing draft beer selection, you will find another 100 mostly German Flaschenbier (Bottles) as well as a well-rounded wine and spirits selection! Be sure to check out their selection of German Schnaps! Prost!!
In 2017 five friends took their passion for craft beer to the next level by opening a brewery and tasting room in Haddonfield, New Jersey, a previously dry town. They envisioned a place where everyone could meet and share in their love of community and craft beer. Since then, they have proudly served some of the region’s freshest and finest hand-crafted ales and lagers to thousands of happy locals and visitors alike.

Papa Joe was my grandfather. He decided to make his own spice mixture from scratch in the mid 70's. After experimenting with several different kosher salts, peppers, and garlic out of his garage in Georgia, he finally came up with the perfect blend-his secret recipe! Of course, fittingly, he named this special mix Papa Joe's Salt. From that point forward, Papa Joe's was a staple in my family's kitchen all my life!
Papa Joe had always given milk jugs full of his Papa Joe's Salt to our family and closest friends. We did not use table salt or ground pepper. Papa Joe's Salt was all we used every time we ate! Upon giving some of my closest friends some Papa Joe's Salt as a Christmas gift in 2007, they raved about the taste and wanted more! I realized then, more than ever, that our family could never run out of Papa Joe's Salt. Papa Joe was more than happy to share his recipe with me, knowing I wouldn't change a thing. I wanted to continue giving the gift of Papa Joe's Salt to friends and family who love it as much as we always have. It was time to share it with the world and continue my Papa Joe's legacy. And now thankfully, all of YOU can have Papa Joe's Salt too!
Papa Joe's Salt LLC was established in 2008. My Papa Joe was able to witness only the very beginnings of Papa Joe's Salt, LLC. In that short time, I was able to get his approval of our bottle choice, the label, and my mix from his recipe... which was really important to him and me! I incorporated Cracked Black Peppercorns and Sea Salts into his recipe, helping to enhance the flavors of food with the variety of salt crystals and pepper sizes. Needless to say, he was proud, and I am comforted in knowing that he's smiling down at me every day!
In December of 2012, after four years of mixing the recipe and bottling Papa Joe's Salt myself, Signature Seasonings, LLC discovered Papa Joe's Salt in an olive oil/seasoning store we were retailing to in Virginia Beach. Now, Papa Joe's Salt is sold in more than 83 locations in 9 different states and online nationwide. Our goal is to continue expanding into more specialty stores, farm markets, and grocery stores.
Papa Joe's Salt donates baskets, gift packs, and samples to several charities and events each year.
Once you try Papa Joe's Salt, you're going to wonder what you ever did without it! Use it as an addition to your meals, as a marinade, a rub, in salads, as a dressing, or as a dip for veggies. It may be "cliché" to say but, "The possibilities are truly endless!" Everything goes with Papa Joe's!
So from my Papa Joe and our family's home to yours, ENJOY Y'All! ~ Michelle Pringle
139. The number on the little cape house where I grew up. Modest by all means on the outside, but inside was filled with music, creativity, Italian food and stories. Our younger years were lean… something my brothers and I only realized and appreciated as adults and raising children of our own. Yet as kids, somehow we felt like we had it all. Our parents never shared their burdens with us and made it look so easy. Even after nearly 60 years, they still made it look easy! Simplicity. Thoughtfulness. Attention to detail. Love. Leftovers. These were always in abundance in that little cape house.
I earned a degree in graphic design from the Rhode Island School of Design, and it was there that I learned that it is truly “in the details that the angels and the devils dwell.” We pushed the boundaries of typography while simultaneously hand drawing the classics with a rapidograph and bristol board. Be creative but understand and appreciate your foundation. Since those Suzie-Q fueled sleepless nights, I have worked at several small and large design firms, and for twenty years have enjoyed a successful freelance career in graphic design, remembering always to mind the details.
After several moves with the military, my husband, Matt and my three girls, Bailey, Meghan and Colleen, settled down into our “someday house” that we had always dreamed of. New (very old) house, new friends, new schools, new jobs, new beginnings, and a chance to really start with a blank canvas. For me, it has been about getting back to my roots and doing what makes me most happy… creating with purpose, telling a story, and sharing my talents to bring joy to others.
My original thought was to create 52 unique pieces in 52 weeks, using 52 inspirations from my life and blogging about them, telling their story and explaining why I chose the medium, typeface etc. As most plans do, mine evolved into helping to share other’s stories and milestones through unique projects that incorporate my love for lettering, drawing, repurposed, recycled materials and antiques. I use only naturally aged pine (some pieces are nearly 100 years old!) and I hand paint all of my pieces. No stencils or vinyl are used, ever. Custom designs are always welcome and I enjoy sharing the creative process with my clients. I love where this creative journey has taken me, and look forward to seeing where it goes from here.
Peruse my galleries and shop, check out my Instagram and Facebook pages (#139handcrafted) to see stuff in progress and of course, if you see something that strikes a chord, please tell me about it. If you want something unique created just for you, please feel free to email me.
